West Edmonton Mall
Situated in West Edmonton, the WEM was at one point the largest mall in the world. It is now the 2nd largest shopping centre in North America an features over 800 stores, 9 attractions, 2 hotels and 100 dining venues. WEM is a premier place to visit and can be accessed by taking Route 4 or 920X from the University Transit Centre. We recommend planning prior to your visit to make the most of your time.
Muttart Conservatory
The Muttart Conservatory is a botanical garden known for its glass pyramid structural design. It features multiple gardens housing different plants from various regions. Edmonton River Valley
Located next to the North Saskatchewan River, the River Valley is home to 160 kilometres of maintained pathways and 20 parks. The River Valley is great for a day of hiking and outdoor sports. Go on a walk in the early morning before the start of the conference to freshen up. Part of the Edmonton River Valley is next to the University of Alberta.
Art Gallery of Alberta
The Art Gallery of Alberta is situated in the heart of the city, on Churchill Square in Downtown Edmonton. The Art Gallery features 6000 works, including both permanent collections and travelling exhibitions. Every visit will be a unique experience. To access, take the Light Rail Transit (LRT) to from University Station to Churchill Station.
